1. What is anti-wrinkle treatment?
A prescription-only medicine that relaxes targeted muscles to soften frown lines, crow's-feet and forehead creases, while preserving natural expression. It can also slim a square jaw, ease teeth clenching and reduce excessive sweating.
Does it hurt, and is there downtime?
The needle is very fine and each injection takes a moment. Most people describe it as a brief sting. Small raised marks settle within an hour, and occasional pinpoint bruising can last a few days - most patients return to their day straight afterwards.
When will I see a difference?
Nothing changes on the day. Movement usually begins to soften from around day three to five, and the result settles by about two weeks. Depending on your body's metabolism, results generally last three to six months.
Will I still be able to move my face?
That is the intention. The aim is to soften selected lines while leaving your expressions intact - treatment is planned to your own anatomy and movement rather than to a fixed template.
What if it isn't right for me?
Then she will say so. Some people are not suitable, and sometimes the concern you have raised is better addressed a different way - or left alone. A consultation carries no obligation to proceed.
How long do results last?
For most people the effect holds for around three to four months, then fades gradually. It varies with the area treated, the dose agreed and your own metabolism - Dr Omeshwari will give you a realistic range for your plan at consultation.
