Doctor-led polynucleotide treatments and chemical peels that support the skin’s own renewal - for skin and hair regeneration.
Skin & hair regeneration
Polynucleotides.
Polynucleotides are known for their revolutionary regenerative properties. They are derived from salmon or trout DNA and processed into a highly purified form, which is then injected into the areas of concern to help with cellular repair and regeneration.
At the cutting edge of regenerative aesthetics, polynucleotides play a vital role in maintaining skin elasticity, hydration, overall quality and deep regeneration. They are also a groundbreaking option for patients experiencing hair thinning or hair loss.
How polynucleotides work
Polynucleotides create an optimal environment for the growth of fibroblasts, the cells essential for tissue repair and regeneration. They also promote bio-stimulation, effectively restoring skin firmness and elasticity while protecting against free radicals and cellular damage. They have been used to treat the skin safely and effectively around the world for many years, but the technology has only more recently become popular in the UK.
Treatment areas
Polynucleotides can be used for the repair and rejuvenation of the face, under the eyes, neck, décolletage, hands and hair.
For hair thinning and hair loss
Polynucleotide treatment for hair loss is a groundbreaking approach, aimed at improving scalp health and stimulating hair follicles to promote natural growth. By enhancing blood flow to the scalp, supporting collagen production and encouraging the repair of damaged tissue, polynucleotides can help address a range of hair concerns, including:
- Hair thinning: encouraging the regeneration of hair follicles for fuller, thicker hair.
- Scalp condition: improving scalp hydration and health, creating the optimal environment for hair growth.
- Hair loss due to stress or ageing: counteracting the effects of stressors on hair by nourishing the scalp and promoting hair follicle activity.
Other skin concerns
Polynucleotides can also help with acne scar reduction, hyperpigmentation and rosacea.
Your course of treatment
At your consultation, Dr Omeshwari will advise on the number of sessions you need for optimal results in the area being treated. Usually 2–3 sessions are required, two weeks apart, followed by one maintenance session every 6–9 months.
Polynucleotides
Questions, answered.
What is the process?
Ultra-fine needles are used to inject superficially at appropriate anatomical points.
When will I see results?
Initial results show 2–6 weeks after each session, with the full effect visible once the course is complete.
How long do the results last?
Results can last from 6 to 12 months.
What should I expect after treatment?
You will notice small bumps where the injections were placed. These usually settle within a few hours, but can remain for up to 2–3 days.
Obagi Blue Peel RADIANCE®
Chemical peels.
Chemical peels prompt skin regeneration and remodelling, significantly improving overall skin appearance and texture.
Skin resurfacing through chemical peels can restore a more youthful appearance and offer potential benefits for a range of skin conditions, including acne, scarring, melasma, wrinkles, actinic keratosis, photodamage, photoageing and pigmentation disorders.
How a peel works
By removing the dead outer layer of skin, a peel promotes fresh skin renewal. It unclogs pores and reduces blackheads, improves skin tone, smooths fine lines and refines skin texture.
Obagi Blue Peel RADIANCE®
The Obagi Blue Peel RADIANCE® provides an almost instant glow and can be combined with other treatments. This can be discussed further at your consultation, where Dr Omeshwari will advise on the most appropriate treatments for you.
Chemical peels
Questions, answered.
What is the process?
Your skin is cleansed and prepared, then the peel solution is applied in thin layers. The treatment takes around 30 minutes from start to finish.
When will I see results?
Many people notice a glow straight after treatment. Improvements in tone and texture build over a course of peels.
What should I expect after the Obagi Blue Peel RADIANCE® treatment?
You may experience some redness, tenderness, scaling and an itching sensation in the treated areas. These are temporary and will disappear within a few days.
Is there any downtime?
Very little. You can usually return to normal activities straight away. Some light flaking may occur around days 2–3.
How should I care for my skin afterwards?
Wear a broad-spectrum sunscreen every day, as your skin will be more sensitive to the sun for at least a month after treatment.
