Good to know
Questions, answered.
What is dermal fillers?
Dermal fillers add volume, smooth lines, and enhance facial contours.
How long do dermal fillers last?
Broadly six to eighteen months, depending on the product chosen, the area treated and how much movement that area sees. Areas like the lips tend to be at the shorter end. Dr Omeshwari will tell you what to expect for your specific plan.
What happens at the appointment?
A full assessment first - your concerns, your proportions and your medical history - then an agreed plan before anything is opened. Treatment itself usually takes twenty to forty minutes depending on what has been agreed.
Does it hurt?
Most of the fillers used contain a local anaesthetic, and topical numbing can be applied beforehand. Discomfort is usually mild and brief. Tell Dr Omeshwari at any point if you would like to pause.
Is there swelling or bruising?
Some swelling is normal for the first day or two, particularly with lip treatment, and bruising is possible. It is worth allowing a clear fortnight before an event you care about.
Can it be reversed?
Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved with an enzyme if needed, which is one reason they are used here. That option is discussed as part of consent, and is listed on the price list.
Will I look overfilled?
The approach is proportion-led and staged - supporting structure rather than adding volume for its own sake. If what you are asking for would not look right on your face, Dr Omeshwari will tell you and explain why.
Can multiple treatments be done on the same day?
Yes, many patients prefer addressing multiple concerns in one appointment. This can be discussed more in detail during your consultation to see if it is the best option for you.
