Jaw Slimming
A doctor-led approach to softening a wide or square lower face and refining the jawline through the masseter muscle.
About the treatment
A softer,
balanced contour.
The masseter is a strong chewing muscle at the angle of the jaw. When it is naturally enlarged or overdeveloped, it can widen the lower face and give a squarer, heavier outline.
What jaw slimming addresses
This treatment focuses on the appearance of the lower face — gently reducing width at the jaw angle to create a smoother, more tapered contour that stays in proportion with the rest of your features.
How treatment works
Small injections placed into the masseter gradually reduce its bulk over the following weeks. As the muscle softens, the lower face can appear slimmer, with a more defined transition from cheek to jaw.
Is it right for you?
Jaw width has several causes, including bone structure, so a face-to-face assessment is important. Dr Omeshwari will look at your proportions and explain what a muscle-based approach can and cannot change.
A measured approach
Any change is gradual and the dose is judged carefully. The aim is a natural, balanced result — reviewed before any further treatment is planned, with movement and expression preserved.
Good to know
Questions, answered.
How soon might I see a slimmer contour?
Any change in shape develops gradually over several weeks as the muscle softens. The expected onset, duration and limitations are discussed during consultation.
Is jaw slimming the same as treating teeth grinding?
They can involve the same muscle, but the focus is different. If your main concern is clenching, grinding or jaw tension, see our Bruxism / Teeth Grinding treatment.
How are risks discussed?
Expected effects, limitations, alternatives and material risks are explained before consent, along with clear aftercare and contact guidance.
